Full Sim Pipeline!!!
Late last night, Heather announced a brand, spanking new full sim pipeline setup at imagiLearning East.

Created by Virtual Bacon, the sim is hosted on a new class 5 server and should be able to handle plenty of surfers. In fact, we were thinking that this might be a great spot to host a future Namiko Surf competition

Seriously surf-crazed, Malcolm was the first surfer to TP into imagiLEARNING and ride the waves. For that, he got his photo posted on the beach!

Heather has set up some new surfboard vendors here too, so you can buy or rent a surfboard on the beach here. You can take a look at all our board designs here or check them out in-world.

Me, I snuck a couple minutes during lunch to come and try out the waves. And they are beautiful. Barrel after barrel. Wave after wave of crystal clear water. Salty. Frothy. Just like champagne. Finished with a stretch of gorgeous white sand beach. The sim was empty when I arrived, so I had every single wave to myself. The big tsunami waves are mixed in with the smaller, frothy waves so it’s a great experience…
I surf with ‘ripple water’ detail turned on and didn’t even have much trouble with lag. So, if you’re finding that Quan Li is getting crowded and too many surfers are dropping in on your waves, go visit this new surf spot and leave a comment here to let everyone know what you think… or let us know if you think this might be a good spot to hold a contest

Hey guys!
I was totally stoked to be the first person to ride the waves at imagiLEARNING East. After Heather made her announcement, I was sure that Max or Caly would beat me there, but to my surprise I was the first one there.
After saying a quick ‘Hey’ to Heather and Virtual, I just had to catch some waves before anybody else showed up. Man, to be the first one to ride those waves was sweet!
The combination of having big and short waves combined together was awesome. I couldn’t believe the number of turns I could get in while riding the tube… it was simply amazing :O
One thing I noticed was that the combination of small and big waves gave me that extra zip to make all those turns; and, if you time your ride just right, you can surf between the waves…my god, I was in heaven!
After I finished my set, I knew that I had to tell someone, anyone about this place… I tried Emme, but she wasn’t online. I called my friend Seano, but he was skydiving. I begged him to come to the beach. He did and the surfing just blew his mind away!
I would like say a big THANK YOU to Virtual and Heather for setting up this surf spot! Great job guys!

What a ride.
Max here. Those waves, wow. Amazing. I didn’t even KNOW about this place until Keala told me. Wow, Mal must have been SO stoked.
Like Mal, I agree that the waves being placed together is awesome. Nice to jump from a little wave to a big one, all in one go.
I look forward to reviewing it!

Yea I loved the wave’s setup man. Waves coming one after another. Its just crazy. When i first hit the waves they were totally man handling me.
There so much different then Quan Li and I think better. Its almost like real surfing. Mal is one lucky man.
